Began production at Terre Haute, Indiana plant.

Introduced multifunctional concentrates. Opened DeRidder, Louisiana plant.

Introduced single pigment concentrate for engineering plastics.

Introduced products for Linear Low Density Polyethylene.

Began European production in Messancy, Belgium.
1989
Added automated line at Terre Haute, Indiana plant.

Opened Cartersville, Georgia plant.

Acquired Tisco S.r.l. in Telgate, Italy.

Formed Ampacet de Argentina, a joint venture with Biblos Color. Acquired Baron Colour, Canada. Expanded the Messancy, Belgium plant.

1999
Acquired the Color and Compounding Division of Equistar Chemicals. Acquired Repexim in Argentina.

2000
Opened Ampacet Asia in Thailand.

2003
Opened blow molding facility at Heath, Ohio. Acquired several facilities:
Polimaster S.r.l., Busto Garolfo, Italy; PolyColour Ltd., Telford, England; and Corland of Camacari, Bahia, Brazil. Expanded manufacturing and laboratory equipment at Sao Paulo, Brazil, facility.

2004
Opened manufacturing facility in Delta, British Columbia, Canada.

2005
Added color capability for engineering thermoplastics at Heath, Ohio plant. Acquired Sembodja in Poland. Expanded the ESIE-Rayong, Thailand, plant to include custom color and service capabilities.

2006
Opened color masterbatch plant in Querétaro, Mexico. Expanded the Heath, Ohio plant’s custom color capacity. Moved South American headquarters to San Isidro, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
